1918-1939The period between the wars again captures a number of artistic movements. Expressionism, cubism, dadaism and precisionism are a few. The 1925 French Exposition Internationale-des-Arts-Decoratifs-et-Industriels-Modernes, which coined the term Art Deco, was the pinnacle of influence Globally. The revivalist nature of architecture also used faux gothic and heraldic content. The mock heraldic design shown at 1750mm x 500mm costs $1350. |
