At Renaissance Stained Glass your new panels will be custom designed and made to suit your home, building and personal sensibilities. Our qualified designers will ensure that your new windows are architecturally appropriate, suit your home and décor and meet all relevant building specifications. We are happy to handle any scale of project from small single stained glass or leadlight panels to large scale projects.
After a FREE consultation with an expert member of our team we will prepare you a quotation for your project. Once you decide to work with us we will begin preparing your designs. Design, glass and colour consultation is a critical part of the process and you can have as much or as little control of this as you want or require.
 
Matching existing stained glass or leadlights involves the same processes as building a new panel. Our professional designers will ensure that your new panels are absolutely appropriate. Your new panels will look like they’ve always been there (only that they’ll be shiny & new & in perfect condition).

Stained Glass/ Leadlight repair and restoration
There are three types of stained glass or leadlight repair: on-site repairs, studio repairs and restoration. They are qualitatively different types of repair and which is most suited to your panel or project depends on the state of disrepair, factors pertaining to your particular window such as where it is etc and of course your budget.
An initial consultation on the phone can usually establish an idea of the types of repair available to you and some rough budget parameters.
 
 
Commissions (Ecclesiastical / Public Builldings)
We refer to a project to create a new panel as a commission when it involves extensive paintwork and / or original or highly ornate design composition. These projects generally involve much more extensive consultation, hand design and artwork and will involve much more detailed work in fabrication such as hand staining (or painting), fusing or other detailed glass work. Such commissions are usually for places of worship or other public buildings such as museums, art galleries, major train stations, universities or schools. We have also completed private commissions for residences.
