Renaissance Stained Glass
Stained Glass > Gallery

A well designed panel will not only appeal to your aesthetic sensibilities but will also be architecturally appropriate, meet building codes and is less prone to internal stress (structural pressures that make your panel vulnerable to breakage). An important part of the decision you are making when you choose to have a panel built is about the designer. Our Principal Stained Glass Artist is professionally qualified through a traditional craft apprenticeship which includes formal design education.

To give you a little more background about the nature of stained glass design and give you somewhere to start we have loosely arranged our online gallery into design genres or architectural periods. Stained Glass design has many influences from architecture to artistic movements to the personal tastes of those for whom it was commissioned. Bare in mind also that different movements have occurred in different parts of the world simultaneously.

Every panel created in our studios is unique so you are by no means simply “choosing a design”. When you commission us to undertake your project designing is an integral part of the process.
Pricing is effected by complexity of design and size. We can either get an idea of the sort of design that appeals to you and work from there or a budget can be set and we can establish what can be achieved for the budget.

See Commissions for information about process and pricing.
