Edwardian design is not common in Australia though it does it exist and is not inappropriate in a home built in the period suggested. Of course overseas this genre exemplifies the period. Individuals from overseas, particularly those with English sensibilities, would have commissioned works of this style. Today it remains a style appropriate as an alternative for the Federation period.
