During the Victorian era materials were expensive and labour plentiful. This is reflected in the designs of the time which were often complex incorporating a lot of irregular shapes and paintwork. Our studio has both the skills and equipment to produce absolute replica high Victorian design. For many with Victorian homes this suits neither tastes nor budget. Fortunately there are also simpler designs which are entirely authentic to the period. Our artists will assist you through the design process to arrive at an appropriate design and glass choice to meet all these needs.

This image is representative of a typical style of late Victorian design. A variety of colour in muted tones with inner borders, roundels and a painted central motif. In this example the central blue wrens are actually screen prints applied to the glass of choice which makes this type of piece far more affordable. A screen printed motif adds around $50 to the cost of your panel where a hand painted motif of this complexity could add closer to $650. The motifs available in screen prints are limited although what we can hand paint is not. Above (2) x 1045mm X 300mm : $1300
This panel demonstrates a more complex design with around 9 handpainted pieces contributing to the central motif. This panel was designed for renovations to a prestige Victorian Sydney home and matches existing original work. 1045mm X 300mm : $2,188 (approx.)
